Perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence in Iceland: a comparative analysis
Dr. Rannveig S. Sigurvinsdóttir is a postdoctoral research fellow at Reykjavik University. Her research focuses on violence and trauma, such as the impact of sexual violence and intimate partner violence on survivors. She has published work on the impact of post-assault disclosures of sexual assault on survivors, the mental health of sexual minority sexual assault survivors, the safety and well-being of survivors of intimate partner violence as well as community and legal interventions for trauma victimization. She has published her work in journals such as the American Journal of Community Psychology, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Violence and Victims, Psychology of Violence, Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment and Trauma, Journal of Bisexuality and more. She finished her PhD in Community Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016.
